Badrinath

 Badrinath, nestled in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India, is one of the holiest and most revered pilgrimage sites for Hindus. Situated in the lap of the majestic Himalayas, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites, attracting thousands of devotees and tourists every year.


The Badrinath Temple, built in traditional Garhwali architecture, is the main attraction of the town. It is believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century.
